Join Table - When you join a backgammon table say hello and introduce
yourself to your opponent. Getting to know your opponent and wishing them good luck at the
beginning of the game is encouraged at Club Games Backgammon. |
| • | Checker Play - Limit comments to a player’s skill, rather than on their dice, as in "nice play" rather than "lucky roll." Rolling doubles is either lucky or unlucky and has nothing to do with your opponent’s skill. |
| • | Game Speed - Keep the game moving; make your moves as quickly as you can to keep the game fun for both players. |
| • | Dice Roles - Luck of the dice is part of the game and commenting on good and bad rolls is not encouraged. Considerate players acknowledge their own luck, but do not feel the need to comment on their opponent’s dice. |
| • | Match Completion - When the match is over say good-bye and thank your opponent for playing. |
